Over the weekend, I was preparing my classes for the week ahead and I was reminded of the following facts about carbohydrates:
- Your body requires carbohydrates to burn stored body fat as an energy source.
- At least 100g of carbohydrates are needed for the body to adequately function... these include vegetables, fruits, grains and can also be found in nuts.
- A meal comprising of protein, fats and carbohydrates after a big workout is ideal for adequate recovery
Carbs aren't the bad guys... however too many (and too many of the bad ones) can inhibit your results and performance. A 'healthy diet' is one that meets the requirements of your performance. prom apparels With Keyhole cut out
