Up all night vomiting bile. Makes me regret cancelling her appt with the motility doc today. She did start Gabapentin at bedtime last night. I hope the vomiting isn't a sign that it's not going to help her nausea. The pharmacist said not to expect to notice a difference until she is titrated to full dosage and, then, it could take up to a month.

It would be nice if we could find somebody on our insurance plan instead of paying out of pocket each week, but there are very slim pickings in this small town. And, Abigail absolutely will not speak to anyone she doesn't feel a connection with. So, please pray we find someone who can reach her. Against her will, she will be going to visit her father and grandparents over Mardi Gras break. She is quite angry that I have arranged this, as he has made it clear she is not a priority to him. She seems to think I'm punishing her. I'm actually not, but I need to deal with some things with my own health and I definitely need a break from all things Abigail and this is the only way to get it.
Her father has absolutely no clue about her feeding tube, feeding regimen or meds but, thankfully, she's able to handle most of that on her own. And, if she needs any help, Noah is well-trained and can help out. I suspect she will return with a much renewed appreciation of all I do for her.
